Venicemarathon
Race Day Weather
Mild temps, strategic pacing needed
Runners will face temperatures starting at 58°F and peaking at 63°F, with light humidity at 77%. A headwind will challenge runners from miles 1-10, 12-16, and 25-26, while crosswinds will occur at other segments. To combat these conditions, pacing adjustments are crucial, especially during the headwind stretches, and hydration should be prioritized given the humidity levels.

Race Info
Venicemarathon runs from Villa Pisani in Stra, about 25 kilometers west of Venice, to Riva Sette Martiri on Venice's waterfront. The course follows the Riviera del Brenta through Marghera and Mestre, crosses the roughly four-kilometer Ponte della Libertà into the historic center, and finishes after 14 canal bridges in the last three kilometers, each fitted with wooden ramps so runners don't have to climb the stone steps. First held in 1986, the race carries a World Athletics Bronze Label and caps the marathon field near 8,000 runners; a half marathon and a 10K start on the same morning.
