Race Info
The VM10K starts at the Porta Blu entrance of San Giuliano Park in Mestre and finishes at Riva Sette Martiri in Venice. Runners cross the four-kilometer Ponte della Liberta, follow the Zattere embankment along the Giudecca Canal and cross the Grand Canal on a temporary bridge built for the marathon. The last stretch passes St. Mark's Square and the Palazzo Ducale. The course is flat and fast, and the final 3 kilometers run over large stone slabs.
