Taiwan National Parks Marathon Yangmingshan Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, moderate wind, rain likely, high humidity
A warm 75°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Moderate winds around 19mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Rain is likely — waterproof your phone and bib, and consider a disposable poncho for the corral. High humidity (86%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Yangmingshan half marathon starts and finishes at the Bagua flagpole platform at Zhongshan Hall in Yangmingshan National Park, Taipei. It shares the marathon's mountain roads, running out past the Lengshuikeng car park to a turnaround at the Qingtiangang car park, then along Zhuzihu Road to the Yangjin Highway, where it turns back before Macao Bridge. The course is a hilly out-and-back on park roads that retraces the same route to the finish.
