The Staunton Rocks! Marathon & Half Marathon runs through Staunton State Park in Colorado's Front Range near Pine. The course is 90% singletrack trail, ranging from 8,200 to 9,500 feet in elevation, with the marathon covering about 4,500 feet of vertical gain and the half about 2,200 feet. Runners may see marmots, raptors, elk, mule deer, black bears, and mountain lions along the route. Each distance is capped at 150 entrants, with a 10-hour time limit for the marathon and 9 hours for the half marathon.
