Autumn Run
Race Day Weather
Cool start, steady conditions ahead
Runners will face a cool start at 43°F, gradually warming to 66°F. Wind will be a moderate 17 mph from the ESE, providing a slight headwind throughout. With a low humidity of 37%, hydration strategies should remain consistent, but runners can maintain their pace without concerns about heat or rain.
The Autumn Run is held each year on the third weekend in September, in and around the historic, friendly, and picturesque town of Buena Vista, Colorado. Nestled in the upper Arkansas River Valley at the base of the Collegiate Peaks, the Autumn Run has one of the most beautiful courses in Colorado. This run is stroller friendly! There may be a few bumpy sections on trail, but overall it's very smooth. Littles who ride along in strollers need not register. We welcome all runners, joggers, and walkers! Source
