Race Info
The EDP Porto Marathon runs along Portugal's Atlantic coast and the Douro river through Porto, Matosinhos and the surrounding area. The course starts on Via do Castelo do Queijo near Sea Life Porto and finishes at the Queimódromo in Parque da Cidade, passing through Porto's historic Ribeira district and over the Dom Luís I Bridge. First held in 2004, it has grown into Portugal's largest marathon, drawing about 15,000 runners across the marathon, 10K and 6K races each November.
