Race Info
The Europe Marathon starts and finishes near the Aveiro Congress Center at Cais da Fonte Nova and follows a flat, asphalt course along Aveiro's urban canals and the Ria de Aveiro estuary into neighboring Ilhavo. It has held World Athletics Road Race Label status since 2023 and placed 95th in the 2025 World Athletics ranking of the world's top 100 marathons. Half marathon, 10K and 5K walk events run the same race weekend.
