Colorado Fall Equinox Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing
Mild 56°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temps will climb significantly to 73°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The Wild & Scenic Half Marathon is a point-to-point course that starts at the Mishawaka Amphitheater in the Poudre Canyon and runs downhill along the Cache la Poudre River to a finish meadow at the base of the canyon. The USATF-certified road course drops about 650 net feet, most of it before mile 10, then flattens through the last few miles. It is a runnable downhill rather than a steep one, with a maximum grade under 7 percent. Runners ride buses from Fort Collins to the start on race morning.
