Colorado Fall Equinox 5M
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing
Mild 56°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temps will climb significantly to 73°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The First to the Finish 5-Mile starts at Gateway Natural Area, where the North Fork of the Poudre River joins the main river, and runs about a quarter mile of dirt road before joining the half marathon route on Poudre Canyon Road. The point-to-point course descends gently toward the base of the canyon, with the steepest drops in the first two miles and again between miles 4 and 5. It finishes at the same meadow as the longer races, ahead of the half marathon field.
