Buckeye 5K
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing
Mild 50°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temps will climb significantly to 68°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

The 5K at the Buckeye Marathon covers 3.1 miles on an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at the Buckeye Municipal Airport in Buckeye, Arizona. It uses the first stretch of the same road as the 10K, with views of the White Tank Mountains on the outgoing section, and turns around at the halfway point. The course rises slightly on the way out and is gently downhill on the way back to the airport.
