Runners will face a temperature rise from 52°F to 83°F, with an average humidity of 23% and a dew point of 26°F. Winds will be steady at 16 mph from the ESE, with gusts up to 29 mph. Runners should adjust their pace conservatively as temperatures increase, especially after the halfway mark.
Net downhill courses along the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains run since 1969. The full Marathon, 50K & Marathon Relay start at Biosphere 2 near Oracle and run down past Catalina, through Oro Valley and finishing at Pima Community College Northwest Campus.
The Half Marathon starts at Golder Ranch Fire Administration in Catalina and runs down through Oro Valley, join The Loop Bike Path next to the Cañada del Oro to the finish at Pima Community College.
