Race Info
The Aspen Valley Marathon half marathon covers 13.1 miles from the Woody Creek area of the Roaring Fork Valley to a finish in Basalt, on the Saturday of race weekend. It follows the Rio Grande Trail and quiet valley roads downvalley toward Basalt on a mostly downhill profile. Much of the route is open and exposed to the sun.
