Aspen Valley Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm afternoon, adjust pace accordingly
Runners will face a temperature increase from 60°F at the start up to 87°F by midday, with humidity around 41%. A light tailwind will assist from miles 2-11 and again from 13-14, but expect crosswinds during other segments, particularly tough from miles 12-16 and 18-22. Given the heat, runners should start conservatively and hydrate frequently to cope with the rising temperatures.
