Aloha Series - Day 1 Ultra
Race Day Weather
Warm start, moderate wind
A warm 74°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Moderate winds around 15mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Moderate humidity at 73% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 50K is about 31 miles of laps on the paved out-and-back path through the garden at Smith's Tropical Paradise in Kapaa, on the east side of Kauai. The path is closed to traffic and almost flat, so the distance is mostly a question of pacing and heat rather than terrain. It is the longest distance offered on the opening day of the four-day Aloha Series.
