Aloha Series - Day 1 Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, moderate wind
A warm 74°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Moderate winds around 15mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Moderate humidity at 73% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles as repeated laps of a paved out-and-back path through the gardens at Smith's Tropical Paradise in Kapaa, on the east side of Kauai. The course never crosses a road and is nearly flat, with only a few feet of gain per lap. Because the laps are short, runners pass the start and finish area many times.
