Race Info
The Thirsty 13 Half Marathon starts at Hesperus Baptist Church on Highway 140, about ten miles west of Durango, Colorado, and finishes downtown at Ska Brewing. The point-to-point course drops about 1,400 feet over 13.1 miles, making it a fast, downhill-heavy route. Matthew Krichman founded the race in 2014 and still directs it. Race weekend ends with a beer festival at the finish tied to the San Juan Brewfest, where local breweries pour for finishers.
