The Steel Rail Half Marathon is an out-and-back run on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in the Berkshires, starting and finishing at the Adams Visitors Center. The paved rail-trail course climbs gently on the way out and descends on the return, with no road hills to speak of. It is USATF-certified and runs on the Sunday of race weekend, with the full marathon on the same trail.
