About the Saddleback 25K
The Saddleback 25K follows the marathon route up Black Star Canyon in the Cleveland National Forest near Silverado, California. Runners follow the creek on a gradual truck trail, climb the switchbacks into the Mariposa Reserve and continue to the Doppler on North Main Divide, where they turn around and return to the start. It is a trail race on dirt fire road with no single track, and it skips the marathon's extra miles toward Skyline Drive in Corona.
