Race Info
The State Forty-Seven is a road ultra on the Saturday of Ruidoso RunFest weekend, with the 47K as the scored distance and an optional extra 3K loop that stretches it to a full 50K. It starts in the dark at Enchanted Vine on Fort Stanton Road in Alto and finishes at the same winery, with the marathon and half marathon starting later the same morning. The race is billed as New Mexico's only premier road 50K, and the field is limited to the first 75 registrants.
