Race Info
The Mt. Fuji International Marathon runs a single lap around Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Saiko in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, with Mount Fuji visible for more than half the course. The full marathon starts and finishes at the Funatsuhama lakeside parking area on Lake Kawaguchi's shore. Starting with the 2026 edition the race weekend expanded to two days, adding a Fuji View Run and Fuji View Walk alongside the full marathon, a roughly 17km lap of Lake Kawaguchi, and a charity fun run. The course is JAAF-certified and the race is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
