Race Info
Around Kawaguchiko is a roughly 17 km lap of Lake Kawaguchi, run on the Sunday of race weekend alongside the full marathon. The course starts and finishes at the Funatsuhama Hirahama parking area and follows the lakeshore roads past Kawaguchiko Bridge, the Fuji Omuro Sengen shrine and the Michi-no-eki Katsuyama roadside station. The lakeside stretches are mostly flat, with Mount Fuji in view across the water and cold, clear December air.
