About the Moab Trail 10K
The Moab Trail 10K Adventure Run starts on Kane Creek Road beneath the canyon walls, then drops into the Kane Creek drainage and climbs the Amasa Back Jeep Road, known as Cliffhanger, to a high point with views of the La Sal Mountains and Behind the Rocks Wilderness. It descends the narrow, exposed Jackson Trail along the canyon wall above the Colorado River, crosses Kane Creek once more and finishes after a ladder climb through a narrow slot called The Squeeze. It is held on the Saturday of race weekend.
