Race Info
The 8K, known locally as the Solstice Classic, is a 4.7 mile run that starts and finishes on Delaney Park Strip downtown, the site of Anchorage's first aircraft runway in the early 1920s. The course heads south on N Street to Westchester Lagoon, follows the forested Chester Creek Trail east to Eastchester Park, loops through Woodside Park and returns the same way. It is held on the Saturday of race weekend.
