Maui Oceanfront Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, moderate wind
A warm 71°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Moderate winds around 13mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Moderate humidity at 78% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Maui Oceanfront Half Marathon is a point-to-point road race on Maui's west side and the RRCA state half marathon championship. It starts in Maalaea at the closed intersection of Highway 30 and Maalaea Road, near the Maui Ocean Center, and runs a two-mile out-and-back through Maalaea before joining the highway. The course then follows the oceanfront shoulder with the sunrise at runners' backs, and the last two miles are on the closed highway to the finish outside Launiupoko Beach Park, south of Lahaina.
