Race Info
The Hatcher Pass Marathon is a point-to-point trail marathon in Alaska's Matanuska-Susitna Valley, held each August as part of the Hatcher Pass Races weekend. The course starts on paved road near Willow and climbs about 3,900 feet along Hatcher Pass Road, finishing near Independence Mine State Historical Park at the summit. It runs alongside a 50-mile race and relay divisions on the same course. Black Wolf Endurance has organized the event since at least 2020.
