Frisco Railroad Run 50M
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race, chance of rain
Mild 53°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 67°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. Moderate humidity at 73% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 50M runs out and back on the Frisco Highline Trail, a fine crushed gravel rail-trail through the Missouri Ozarks, from Willard to Highway U near Bolivar. Mile 25 at the turnaround makes it a true 50 miles on a mostly flat, USATF-certified course with a few railroad bridges. It starts and finishes at Willard Middle School on the Saturday of race weekend.
