Frisco Railroad Run 50K
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race, chance of rain
Mild 53°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 67°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. Moderate humidity at 73% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 50K follows the Frisco Highline Trail from Willard to the historic town of Graydon Springs, 15.5 miles out, and returns to the same start. The fine crushed gravel trail is a former railroad bed, so grades stay gentle and the course is mostly flat. It is USATF-certified and finishes at Willard Middle School on the Saturday of race weekend.
