Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, big temp swing

Race Info
The Escalante Canyons Half Marathon covers the second half of the marathon course, entirely on Utah's Scenic Byway 12 (Route 12), starting a short way west of the Escalante River. The road climbs through slickrock country for the first three miles, then settles into a gradual westward descent with a few short inclines to the finish at Escalante City Park. Course highlights include the S-curve near the start, the Head of the Rocks overlook and the Straight Cliffs backdrop as the course comes into Escalante.
