About the Escalante Canyons 5K Fun Run
The Escalante Canyons 5K Fun Run is a point-to-point course that starts up Pine Creek Canyon, beyond Turnabout Ranch, and runs mostly downhill toward Escalante. After crossing the Escalante River it heads south on 300 East to Main Street, which is Route 12, and finishes at Escalante City Park on the same finish line as the marathon and half marathon. A short, steep climb comes at about mile 2.2.
