Race Info
The Christchurch Half Marathon starts on Park Terrace at the Armagh Street end of Hagley Park and loops through the flat central city, passing Cambridge Terrace, the Avon River, Latimer Square and the Madras and Kilmore Street blocks. The route then follows the cycle path around the outer edge of Hagley Park and finishes in the Special Events Area at the park's Armagh Street entrance. The distance is certified to World Athletics and AIMS standards, and the organisers bill it as New Zealand's flattest half marathon course.
