Race Info
The Queenstown Marathon runs each November through New Zealand's Central Otago region, starting at Millbrook Resort and finishing at Queenstown Recreation Ground. The course is roughly 70% hard-packed trail and 30% road, passing through Arrowtown and along Lake Hayes and the Shotover River before reaching Queenstown Gardens. Jack Moody set the men's course record of 2:25:02 in 2025, and Bara Styblova holds the women's record at 2:48:31 from the same year. The race weekend also includes a half marathon, 10km, and kids' run.
