Race Info
The Yellow River Estuary Marathon is held each October in Dongying, Shandong Province, on China's Bohai Bay coast. It carries World Athletics Gold Label status, the only Gold Label marathon in Shandong. The course starts and finishes at New Century Square in downtown Dongying and runs largely flat, low-lying roads through Yellow River Delta wetland parks, drawing more than 30,000 marathon, half marathon, and 5K health run participants. The race has been held annually since 2008.
