Race Info
The Wuhan Marathon is a World Athletics Gold Label road race held in Wuhan, Hubei province, China, jointly organized by the China Athletics Association, the Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Wuhan Municipal Government. The course starts along the Yangtze riverside boulevard (Yanjiang Dadao) near Sanyang Road in Jiang'an District, crosses the Yangtze River into Wuchang, and has finished at the Qingshan riverside for the full marathon and near the Hubei Provincial Library for the half marathon. In recent editions the race has drawn upward of 30,000 runners from dozens of countries. The China Athletics Association upgraded the event directly from bronze to gold-label status in 2018.
