Race Info
The Wuhan Marathon is a China Athletics Association Class A road race held in Wuhan, Hubei province, China, hosted by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and organized by the Wuhan Municipal Sports Bureau and Wuhan Culture Tourism Group. The race held World Athletics Gold Label status for the 2025 edition; after World Athletics restructured its road race label tiers in 2026, the race holds Elite Label status. The course starts along the Yangtze riverside boulevard (Yanjiang Dadao) near Sanyang Road in Jiang'an District, crosses the Yangtze River on the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge into Wuchang, and finishes at the Qingshan riverside for the full marathon and near the Hubei Provincial Library for the half marathon. In recent editions the race has drawn upward of 30,000 runners from dozens of countries.
