Join us on our beautiful marathon course that begins in Iron River, Wisconsin and finishes in Ashland, Wisconsin on Lake Superior’s south shore. The scenic fall backdrop will surround you as you run on a gradual decline towards the finish line in Ashland. Our fall marathon offers you spectacular views of the countryside, fall colors, and the most fun- friendly aid stations. It’s easy to see why the WhistleStop is the Upper Midwest’s best fall classic. Maybe you are trying to qualify for Boston, or you might be hoping for that Personal Record, or this may be a first long-distance event for you.
