Race Info

The 10K is an out-and-back on the paved Western Maryland Rail Trail in Hancock, Maryland, run on the Sunday of race weekend. Runners head southwest from the start on South Pennsylvania Avenue, turn around at 3.11 miles and come back to the same finish line. The surface is smooth pavement on an old railroad bed with a nearly flat grade, running beside the C&O Canal and the Potomac River valley's farmland and woods.
