Race Info
The Lock 2 Lock Marathon runs along the flat, tree-lined C&O Canal Towpath in Williamsport, Maryland, out and back between Lock 44 and Lock 43. The marathon covers the 6.56-mile stretch twice, while the half marathon and 10K each run it once from later start times. With no more than 40 feet of total elevation change, the course is Boston Marathon-qualifying certified. The race is organized by 2 Lowe Run Company and a portion of proceeds benefits the Perinatal Bereavement Fund through the Meritus Foundation.
