Wachau Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race, moderate wind, rain likely
Starting at 61°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 73°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Moderate winds around 17mph may affect pacing on open sections of the course. Rain is likely — waterproof your phone and bib, and consider a disposable poncho for the corral. Moderate humidity at 70% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.
