Triple Lakes Trail Race Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, big temp swing
A cool 40°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temps will climb significantly to 60°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 67% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Half Marathon starts and finishes at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro, on the Saturday of the Triple Lakes Trail Race weekend. Runners take the Greensboro greenway to the Owls Roost Trail and run its full loop counter-clockwise, then cross to the Palmetto Trail and the Nat Greene Trail. The route returns to the southern end of Owls Roost for a second pass before the finish near the park pavilion. It is mostly soft-surface trail in the watershed lands around Lake Brandt.
