The Tokushima Marathon starts in central Tokushima City at the Tokugin Tomoni Arena and finishes at Pocari Sweat Stadium in Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. The 2027 race is the event's 20th running and introduces a redesigned course. The men's course record is 2:13:35, set by Daisuke Uwakado in 2025; the women's record is 2:33:55, set by Rie Kawachi in 2023. The race is a Boston Marathon qualifier and is typically held in mid-March.
