Race Info
The Tawang Marathon's half marathon starts and finishes at the Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso High Altitude Stadium in Tawang, at about 3,050 m (10,000 ft). The route runs on hillside roads around the town, passing the Tawang War Memorial area and reaching out toward Rengyang and Tepsoney before turning back. The course is hilly throughout, and the thin air at this elevation is as much of a test as the climbing.
