About the Tawang 10K
The 10K at the Tawang Marathon starts and finishes at the Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso High Altitude Stadium in Tawang, at about 3,050 m (10,000 ft). The loop heads south on the hillside roads toward the Yubu area, then climbs back and circles through the Tawang War Memorial neighborhood to the finish. Steady grades and the altitude make it slower than a 10K at sea level.
