Race Info
The Tata Mumbai Marathon is an annual World Athletics Gold Label marathon held in Mumbai, India, on a Sunday in mid-to-late January. The full marathon starts near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and finishes at the Bombay Gymkhana on MG Road, routing runners along Marine Drive, Haji Ali, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the Mumbai Coastal Road before a climb up Peddar Road late in the course. First run in 2004 as the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, it is the largest marathon in Asia and the largest mass-participation sporting event on the continent, drawing more than 60,000 participants across its full marathon, half marathon, and shorter categories.
