Race Info
The Split Marathon starts and finishes on the Riva, Split's harborfront promenade beside Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The course runs north along the Dalmatian coast to Solin, passing the ruins of ancient Salona, once the capital of Roman Dalmatia, before returning to the Riva. AIMS-certified and held every February since 2001, the race weekend also includes a half marathon, a 10K, and two shorter family runs. A separate Split Night Half, run in August along Žnjan Beach on a different course, shares the same organizing club.
