Race Info
The Shenzhen Marathon is an annual World Athletics Gold Label marathon held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, each December. The race starts at the Shenzhen Civic Center in Futian District and finishes at Bao'an District's Seaside Plaza, running west along Shennan Boulevard through Futian, Nanshan, Qianhai and Bao'an, with a turnaround near Shenzhen Bay Sports Park. First held in 2013, the race has grown to a field of roughly 30,000 marathon finishers. Since 2024 the event has offered only the full marathon distance, after previously also including a half marathon and, in its earliest years, a 6K race.
