Runners will face a temperature rise from 41°F at the start to 61°F by the finish. Winds from the NE at 12 mph will provide a slight challenge, with gusts up to 25 mph. With low humidity at 27%, conditions are favorable, allowing for steady pacing throughout the race.

The Sand Hollow Marathon & Half Marathon runs in March. It’s a great time of year in Southern Utah where spring arrives early. If you have not yet run this course, then you’re in for a treat! Our course, starting and finishing in the beautiful, small town of Hurricane, Utah. It is only twenty minutes from St. George, thirty minutes from Zion National Park, and just two hours from Vegas by car. We believe we have the most scenic course of all; making this is a great race with a small town atmosphere. The scenery is fantastic, the volunteers are great, and our sponsors make it happen. We have listened to the advice of our runners and continue to improve and grow this popular event. Source
