Runtastic TIMP
Race Day Weather
Cool start, warm finish
Runners will face a cool start at 51°F, transitioning to a warm finish at 70°F. With light winds from the ESE, the course will provide a mix of tailwinds and crosswinds, especially tough on Mile 11 with a headwind. Runners should maintain hydration and pace conservatively early on to adapt to the rising temperatures, particularly as they descend through the course.
This course drops 1,680 ft from start to finish, so we look at it at 3 points, not just the start line. In a typical year, at 9:00/mi, you start at 51° and finish around 7:57 AM in 70°; typical start-line conditions say 61° then.
