Runners complete multiple laps of the flat, traffic-free tarmac circuit to cover the full 26.2-mile distance, with each kilometre marked by distance flags. RunThrough Events runs the same Running Grand Prix format at Goodwood in July, October and December as well, each pairing the marathon with 5K, 10K, half marathon, metric marathon, 20 mile and 50K races on the same day. It is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
