The Metric Marathon is 26.2 kilometres, a step up from the half marathon without the full 42.2 km. It is run on the flat, closed tarmac of Goodwood Motor Circuit, at the foot of the Sussex Downs near Chichester in West Sussex. Runners complete repeated loops of the circuit's fast, flowing course, starting and finishing beside the event village.
