Race Info
Run Barbados Marathon is an annual road race held in Bridgetown, Barbados, part of a multi-day Run Barbados weekend that has run since 1983. The marathon starts and finishes at Bay Street Esplanade in St. Michael, heading north along Carlisle Bay on Bay Street, Princess Alice Highway, Prescod Boulevard and Spring Garden Highway to a turnaround near Sandy Lane before a second loop back to the start. The course is flat and stays close to sea level except for short rises near Paradise Beach around miles 4 and 9. The 2020 edition was cancelled; the weekend also includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K and fun mile, and the 2026 marathon is scheduled for December 6.
