Runners will face a cool start at 37°F, gradually warming to 50°F by the finish. Winds will be strong, peaking at 27 mph with tailwinds aiding from miles 1 to 2, 5, 9, and 13 to 22. Given the temperature and wind, a conservative start is recommended, especially in the initial miles where tailwinds will provide a boost. Hydration should be prioritized as temperatures rise.

Race Info
REVEL Reno Tahoe is a net-downhill point-to-point marathon that starts near the summit of the Mt. Rose Highway at about 8,911 feet and finishes at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The course drops roughly 4,462 feet over 26.2 miles, passing the Mt. Rose and Sky Tavern ski areas before descending through Galena Estates and the Montreux Golf Club area into Reno. A half marathon and 10K run on the same morning. The inaugural edition was held May 17, 2026, with 543 marathon finishers.
