Runners will start in chilly 37°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Temperatures rising to 50°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Strong 27mph gusts could slow exposed stretches — tuck behind other runners when you can.

Race Info
REVEL Reno Tahoe is a net-downhill point-to-point marathon that starts near the summit of the Mt. Rose Highway at about 8,911 feet and finishes at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The course drops roughly 4,462 feet over 26.2 miles, passing the Mt. Rose and Sky Tavern ski areas before descending through Galena Estates and the Montreux Golf Club area into Reno. A half marathon and 10K run on the same morning. The inaugural edition was held May 17, 2026, with 543 marathon finishers.
